Mirko Hecktor (* 1974 in Munich ) is a German author / editor, DJ , music producer, choreographer and former ballet dancer . He has had numerous international engagements as a choreographer and dancer, has been working for various art, dance and music projects since 2008 and is co-editor of the Munich magazine “Super Paper”.

Life

In 1995 Mirko Hecktor graduated from the Ballet Academy of the University of Music and Theater in Munich with a grant from the Heinz Bosl Foundation. He then worked for four years as a dancer at the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich, before moving to Montreal in 1999 as a soloist at La La La Human Steps . From 2001 to 2003 he danced as a soloist at the renowned Ballets de Monte-Carlo and then ended his professional career. From 2004 to 2008 he studied applied theater studies at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen .
