Mirko Heuer

Mirko Heuer (born June 2, 1966 in Hanover ) is a German local politician. He has been the full-time mayor of the Lower Saxony city of Langenhagen since November 1, 2014 .

Life

This year attended the Friedrich-Ebert-Grundschule and the Gymnasium Langenhagen between 1972 and 1985 . He then studied electrical engineering at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences with a degree in engineering. (FH). After working in the private sector, he moved to the Lower Saxony state company LSKN , most recently as a specialist in the field of service design / service operation. This year I am married and have three children.

Local politics

Heuer has been active in the CDU since 2005. In 2007 he became chairman of the CDU council group in Langenhagen. In the mayoral election in 2014, he won the runoff election with 58.8 percent against the defeated Friedhelm Fischer .
