Mirko Schultze
Mirko Schultze (born March 7, 1974 in Görlitz ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ) and member of the Saxon state parliament .
Life and work
Mirko Schultze is a trained construction worker. After completing his training in 1993, he did his basic military service in Halle and initially worked in his profession, including as a foreman. With intermittent unemployment, he worked as a skilled worker in the AUR Görlitz eV project. From 2003 to 2005 he was the campaign manager of his party in Saxony ( Die Linke Sachsen ), then until 2013 employee of the Bundestag member Ilja Seifert and subsequently employee of the state group DIE LINKE. in the Bundestag.
As deputy parliamentary group leader, he is a member of the Görlitz city council and is a member of the supervisory board of the Gerhart Hauptmann Theater Görlitz / Zittau GmbH . Furthermore, he is parliamentary group chairman in the district council of the district of Görlitz .
In the state elections in Saxony in 2014 , he was elected via the state list. He ran against Bernd Lange in the 2015 district election as the only candidate against the incumbent district administrator and was defeated with 27% of the votes cast.
Mirko Schultze is in the DIE LINKE parliamentary group. Spokesman for the fire brigade, rescue services, armed forces and disaster control in the Saxon state parliament. He is a member of the interior committee and the second Saxon NSU investigation committee .
For several years Mirko Schultze was chairman of the district association and the local association of his party. He also is involved in many clubs and Görlitz is there among other things Chairman of the Association Görlitzer Helenenbad eV, board member of the development ViaThea eV
In terms of trade unions, Mirko Schultze is based at the United Service Union , of which he is a member of the state and district board of directors.
