Mirkoeilcane (* 6. May 1986 in Rome as Mirko Mancini ) is an Italian musician.

Career

Mancini grew up in the Roman district of Garbatella and began playing guitar as a child . After a long activity as a songwriter, he released his first album Mirkoeilcane in 2015 . This received good reviews and was nominated for the Tenco Prize . In 2017 the musician was responsible for the soundtrack of the film I peggiori by Vincenzo Alfieri and won the 28th edition of the Musicultura festival with Per fortuna . He also published his first novel Whiskey per favore as an e-book . With the song Stiamo tutti bene he was finally able to qualify for the newcomer category of the Sanremo Festival 2018 in the show Sarà Sanremo . There he reached second place behind Ultimo and was also awarded the Critics' Prize. His song also earned him the Targa Tenco for Best Song 2018.
