Miron Sycz (Ukrainian Мирон Сич , born January 3, 1960 in Ostre Bardo ) is a Polish politician of Ukrainian nationality of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

His family comes from the Jarosławski powiat and was forcibly relocated from the south of Poland to the north in 1947 as part of the Akcja Wisła . He attended the primary school in Stopki and then the Ukrainian class of the grammar school in Górowo Iławeckie . Sycz then studied at the Olsztyn University of Education ( Wyższa Szkoła Pedagogiczna w Olsztynie ), which he left with a master's degree in mathematics. On September 1, 1984 he began studying at the grammar school in Górowo Iławeckie. In 1990 he was one of the co-founders of the school center with Ukrainian language of instruction in Górowo Iławeckie and its director until 2007. In 1998 he was elected to the Sejmik of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . In the parliamentary elections in 2007 Miron Sycz was able to win a mandate for the Sejm with 9075 votes in the constituency 34 Elbląg . There he works in the commissions for national and ethnic minorities and environmental protection.

Miron Sycz is married.
