Mirosława Masłowska

Mirosława Jolanta Masłowska (born October 20, 1943 in Warsaw ) is a Polish politician , since 2005 a member of the Sejm in the V. and VI . Electoral term.

She passed the Abitur on III. General education Lyceum "Mieszko I." in Stettin and graduated from the Medical Academy Stettin . She worked in the City Children's Clinic, then in the Provincial Institute for Epidemiology, where she was director, among other things. In 2002 she retired.

From 1998 to 2005 she was City Councilor of Szczecin. In the local elections in 2002, she ran for Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS) and Platforma Obywatelska (Civic Platform - PO) for the office of mayor of Szczecin. It received 2,409 votes and took eighth place.

Since 1993 she has belonged to the right-wing Catholic Porozumienie Centrum (Center Agreement - PC), after which she joined the PiS. In the 2005 parliamentary elections , she was elected to the Sejm with 7,675 votes from the list of PiS for the constituency of Stettin. In the 2007 Sejm elections she was elected for the second time with 8,431 votes. She is a member of the Sejm Commission for Health and Environmental Protection.
