Mirzino Jato

Mirzino Jato was a Yugoslav disco band from Sarajevo .

Origin and career

Mirzino Jato originated in the late 1970s , following the example of the German disco group Boney M . The group has released two albums during its existence, Šećer i med (1979) and Naјslađi rode (1983). All songs were written by Sead Lipovača , electric guitarist of the band Divlje Jagode . The band's hit was the song Apsolutno tvoj.

After the group disbanded in 1992 , Mirza Alijagić continued his career as a bassist at the Sarajevo Opera . Gordana Ivandić , sister of Bijelo dugme drummer Goran Ivandić , became the singer of the band Makadam and Zumreta Midžić ( Zuzi Zu ) started a solo career as a singer of pop , rock and Roma music as well as Sevdalinka and as a music author and Songwriter.
