Mitsuaki Kojima ( Japanese 小島 光 顕 , Kojima Mitsuaki ; born July 14, 1968 in Nagasaki Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Kojima learned to play football on the school team at Kunimi High School and the university team at Tokyo Agricultural University . He signed his first contract with Fujitsu in 1991 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League Division 2. For the club, he completed 46 games. In 1992 he moved to the first division club Sanfrecce Hiroshima . In 1994 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club . In 1995 and 1996 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . For the club, he completed 155 top division games. In 1999 he moved to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka . At the end of the 2001 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed 109 games. At the end of 2002 he ended his career as a football player.
