Nichiyu Mitsubishi Forklift KK ( Japanese ニ チ ユ 三菱 フ ォ ー ク リ フ ト 株式会社 , Nichiyu Mitsubishi Fōkurifuto Kabushiki-gaisha , English Mitsubishi Nichiyu Forklift Co., Ltd. ) is a Japanese company belonging to the Mitsubishi Group and one of the largest forklift manufacturers in the world. In 2015, the company, together with the parent company Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), the largest shareholder, took over the competitor UniCarriers and thus the brands Atlet , Nissan Forklift and TCM .
Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Europe will be responsible for sales in Europe . Mitsubishi Nichiyu Forklift produces under the Mitsubishi , Nichiyu , CAT and Rocla brands .
history
The company was founded in 1937 as Nihon Yusōki KK ( 日本 輸送 機 株式会社 ), or Nichiyu ( 日 輸 ) for short . In 2013, the merger with the forklifts division of MHI and the name change to Nichiyu Mitsubishi Forklift followed. The Logisnext umbrella brand was established in 2017. With the brands Mitsubishi, UniCarriers, Nichiyu, CAT Lift Trucks, TCM and Rocla, the group has since covered a broad spectrum of market and product segments and all major regions in a coordinated manner.
