The Central German Baseball and Softball Association (MBSV) is the regional association of the German Baseball and Softball Association (DBV) responsible for Saxony , Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia . 9 baseball and softball clubs are organized in it. The MBSV was founded in 1996, the association is based in Erfurt . In 1996 the association league started with 6 teams.
Game operation
The MBSV is responsible for the organization of the game operations under the three DBV leagues. The Association Baseball League has been a joint association league with the Berlin / Brandenburg Baseball and Softball Association (BSVBB) since 2019 .

The founding members in 1996 were the Leipzig Wallbreakers, Zwickau Runaways, Braunsbedra Coalminers, Hoyerswerda Oaks, Erfurt Diabolos and Boxberg Barbaren.
