The Mneme Lake ( English ; Bulgarian езеро Мнема esero Mnema ) is an oval, in a southwest-northeast orientation 220 m long, 85 m wide and 1.3 hectare large lake on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 2.5 km northeast of Bilyar Point on Ivanov Beach immediately west of Rowe Point . It is separated from Barclay Bay by a strip of land between 12 and 40 m wide.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2020 after Mneme , a muse from Roman mythology .
