history

The oldest mentions of the place are from 1427 and 1429. It belonged to Greater Poland and was on the northern border with Pomerania / Pomerania.

Since 1772 the place belonged as Moschütz to the province Posen in the Kingdom of Prussia , since 1816 in the district Wirsitz . In 1903 a railway line to Wirsitz was opened.

Since 1919 the place belonged again to Poland. In 1939 the landowner and philanthropist Wacław Popiel was arrested by the German occupation authorities and taken to the Stutthof concentration camp.

From 1944 Mościska was Polish again. In 1970 the small railway line to Wyrzyca was finally closed.
