Construction and history
The Modaubrücke is a natural stone bridge on the old Mühlweg between Kaisermühle and Wiesenmühle. It is dated 1938.
The road bridge leading in an arch over the Modau consists of ashlar masonry made of gray granite . The sides of the bridge are bricked up about 1 m above street level.
The Modaubrücke replaces an older bridge in the same place and was placed under monument protection as a typical example of the technology of the 1930s in Darmstadt .
