Modra is an oasis in northern Chad in the Tibesti region , about 150 km southeast of Bardaï . Modra is located a few kilometers south of the Modra Pass ( Col de Modra ), which connects the south of the Tibesti with the Enneri Yebbigué in the north. At 1741 m above sea level, Modra is one of the highest settlements in the Tibesti.

Modra is mentioned several times in the book Up and About (2015) by extreme mountaineer Doug Scott (Chapter 8: Tibesti).
