The Simpson family celebrates with a brunch in a posh restaurant that the last installment of the mortgage has finally been paid off. The children behave extremely naughty.

In Moe's tavern, Homer's favorite bar, Homer was complaining about his life when suddenly the inspector from the health department came in. It turns out that Moe and the health inspector are old friends and Moe has nothing to fear. However, the inspector makes the fatal mistake of eating one of Moes Soleier and dies from it. His successor closes the dive bar due to the unsustainable hygienic conditions. The regulars say goodbye to their pub in a memorial service.

Homer can't accept that the tavern is closed and takes out a new mortgage to help Moe. When Marge finds out, she takes the helm in the tavern so that the money isn't entirely lost. She suggests that Moe convert the place into a British pub. Under the name "The Nag and the Weasel" ( dt .: The horse and the Weasel ) opened the pub and will to succeed.

With Marge and Moe's collaboration going well, Homer feels neglected and becomes jealous. When Moe and Marge want to travel to Aruba on business , Homer follows them to the airport and manages to get on the plane. Moe is actually in love with Marge and tries to win her over. It turns out, however, that Homer's jealousy was unfounded in that Marge has no interest in Moe.

Since the plane is already in the air, Homer has to accompany them to Aruba. The unsupervised children are meanwhile taking part in a European balloon race.
