Mohamed Reda El Fassi

Mohamed Reda El Fassi (born May 11, 1958 in Rabat ) is a Moroccan diplomat . He was in January 2006 by King Mohammed VI. appointed Moroccan Ambassador to Pakistan .

Life

In 1980 he received a doctorate in political science and in 1985 a Master of Arts at the Sorbonne . From 1987 to 1989 El Fassi was employed in the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 1989 to 1992 he was the first Secretary of the Moroccan Embassy in Vienna , where he from 1994 to 1995 as chargé acted. In 1994 he headed the delegation of the Moroccan government to the General Assembly of the IAEA in Vienna. From 1994 to 1995 he was a board member of the IAEA.

From 1996 to 1998 he held a leading position in the Moroccan Foreign Ministry, where he advised the Moroccan Foreign Minister from 1998 to 1999. From July 1999 to 2003 he was plenipotentiary ambassador to Germany . From 2003 to 2006 he headed the International Organizations Department in the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
