Mohammed Camara (born October 10, 1981 in Banjul ) is a former Gambian football player .

Career

The left winger joined in 2003 by SuK Bielefeld in the second team of Arminia Bielefeld . There he caused in the 2005/06 season when playing against the SpVg Emsdetten 05 a rough foul on the player Frank Bläker that there is a fractured skull drew upon and as a result had to end his sports career. On August 20, 2005, Camara was suspended for six months. For the 2006/07 season Camara moved to FV Engers and joined the newly promoted FSV Oggersheim in the Regionalliga Süd for the 2007/08 season . Due to the bankruptcy of FSV Oggersheim in July 2009 and a protracted injury, Camara trained for some time in the camp for clubless professionals . Mohammed Camara joined the Thuringian regional class FC Wartburgstadt , where he has played since October 2009. After Camara did not play a game in Eisenach for more than six months, in January 2011 he moved to the southern class for SG Glücksbrunn Schweina, where he was active until summer 2012.

In 2007 Camara came to the Gambian national team in a friendly against Luxembourg .
