Sardar Mohammed Haschim Khan (* 1884 , † 1953 ) was an Afghan politician and regent.

After the assassination of his brother, King Mohammed Nadir Shah , he and his other brothers were elected as Prime Minister in 1933 for the heir to the throne, Mohammed Sahir Shah , who was just three years old . He had held the office of Prime Minister since 1929 and held this position until 1946. His rule was considered authoritarian and conservative. Not wanting to be dependent on the Soviet Union and Great Britain , Hashim turned to Germany . At his invitation in 1935, German experts set up factories and hydroelectric projects.
