Mohammed Taqi Moayed

Mohammed Taqi Moayed ( Persian محمدتقی مؤید; * 1954 ) is an Iranian diplomat in retirement .

Life

From 1979 to 1987 he was employed in the Ministry of Education as a teacher, in various other functions and finally as State Secretary.

In 1987 he joined the foreign service. On April 21, 1987, he received exequatur as consul general in Manchester . The events developed to the disadvantage of the Consulate General. In May 1986 the British government rejected Hussein Malouk as Iranian chargé d'affaires in London, as he was a participant in the hostage-taking of Tehran . Whereupon the Iranian government blocked the appointment of Hugh James Arbuthnott as head of British advocacy at the Swedish embassy in Tehran. Eventually a vice-consul of the consulate general in Manchester was charged with shoplifting and the consulate general closed.

From January 1988 to October 1988 he was ambassador to The Hague .

From 2000 to 2003 he was ambassador to Athens .

From 2007 to 2011 he was ambassador to Tunis .

On December 25, 2014, he was appointed ambassador to Rabat , where he was received by Mohammed VI on June 29, 2015 . (Morocco) was received to receive its accreditation letter and was accredited until May 1, 2018.
