Moises Frumencio da Costa Gomez (born October 27, 1907 , † November 22, 1966 ) was a politician of the Netherlands Antilles .

Life

Da Costa Gomez was a member of the National People's Party ( Nationale Volkspartij ) and on May 10, 1949 succeeded AG Statius Muller as chairman of the college of general administration and thus as head of government of the Dutch colony of the Netherlands Antilles.

On July 14, 1949, however, he was replaced by Lindoro Christoffel Kwartsz . On December 18, 1951, he again succeeded Lindoro Christoffel Kwartsz as head of government and held the function, now renamed as Chairman of the Government Council, until he was replaced by Efraïn Jonckheer on December 8, 1954.

Da Costa Gomez was married to Lucina da Costa Gomez-Matheeuws , who was also Prime Minister of the Netherlands Antilles in August 1977 .
