The Mojenhop ( Low German Mojenhoop) is a residential area in the Lower Saxony community of Anderlingen in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district . Historically and administratively belongs to the district of Mojenhop Grafel on.

Geography and transport links

The Mojenhop is located northeast of the main town of Anderlingen and northwest of Grafel on the county road 108 , which leads in the north via Fehrenbruch to Farven and in the southwest via Anderlingen to the federal highway 71 in Selsingen . In the west there is also a side road to Ohrel .

The Mojenhop consists of the Mojenhop farm , which is located east of the K 108 on the Mojenhop access road , as well as three other settler sites on the western side of the K 108 and on the Am Mojenhop access road that branches off to the west .

history

The living space developed from the Mojenhop farm , which was first mentioned in 1157. The name is derived from Low German and means beautiful settlement . Originally the farm belonged to Grafel and was the last farm in Grafel until 1854 to be paid for as a meier. The Mojenhop has been run by the Borchers family for seven generations. Today the focus is on organic dairy farming.

Before 1857, the Mojenhop belonged to the municipality of Grafel in the Börde Selsingen in the Zeven district ; However, the Börde changed in 1859 to the Bremervörde office . After 1885 the Mojenhop belonged to the Grafel municipality in the Bremervörde district . In 1932 the new district of Bremervörde was formed, which was added to the Rotenburg (Wümme) district in 1977 . On March 1, 1974 Grafel was incorporated into Anderlingen .
