The Molusc Pond ( English for mollusc pond ) is a 50 m long pond on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It is located on the east side of the Marine Plain in the Vestfold Mountains .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1983 after the fossil remains of shellfish found on the west bank .
