Mona Lohmann (born February 22, 1992 ) is a German soccer player .
Career
Mona Lohmann moved from VfR Engen to SC Freiburg in summer 2008 , where she initially played for the B-Juniors for one year. Since the 2009/10 season she was part of the squad of Freiburg's second team, with which she rose in 2010 in the Regionalliga Süd . She had been part of the Bundesliga team since 2010, but also continued to appear in the regional league team. On May 2, 2010 Lohmann made her Bundesliga debut for the Freiburg women in the 5-0 defeat against FCR 2001 Duisburg , with whom she was relegated to the second Bundesliga shortly afterwards. Only one year later, however, with the Freiburg women as champions of the 2nd Bundesliga South, she managed to get promoted back to the Bundesliga. In the summer of 2014, she left Freiburg and moved to the Swiss national division FC Neunkirch , for which she played in 14 league and two cup games until February 2015, scoring seven goals.
In the 2015 season she was under contract with Amazon Grimstad FK and played 21 of 22 season games in the top series , with one goal. After Grimstad's relegation, she returned to Germany in January 2016 and signed a contract with Werder Bremen , but left the Hanseatic city in the summer of 2016 and moved to the newly promoted Borussia Mönchengladbach .
