She crossed the finish line in all disciplines and achieved fourth place in the combined ranking with 16th place in the slalom as the best race result.

Hübner won her first European Cup points on November 23, 2008 and a week later she was among the top ten in the Kvitfjell Super-G for the first time. After two more top 10 results in the European Cup, she made her debut in the World Cup on February 1, 2009 in her hometown of Garmisch-Partenkirchen . In this Super-G, however, she came only second to last in 47th place, and for the time being this was her only World Cup start. At the Junior World Championships 2009 , which also took place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, her best result was ninth place in the slalom.

On February 22nd 2010, Hübner celebrated her first European Cup victory in the La Molina slalom . However, she came in the top ten only one more time in the 2009/10 season . At the Junior World Championships 2010 in the Mont Blanc region , her best results were eleventh place in the combined ranking and twelfth place in the slalom. On November 13, 2010, Hübner contested her second World Cup race with the slalom in Levi and won her first World Cup points in 23rd place.
