Monika Bejnar
Monika Bejnar (born March 10, 1981 in Tarnów ) is a Polish sprinter .
As sixth of the 2005 European Indoor Championships in the 400-meter run and fourth in the 200-meter run at the 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg, Monika Bejnar has shown that she is also among the top Europeans in individual races. However, she was able to achieve her great successes with the Polish 4 x 400 meter relay :
- 2003: 5th place in the World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis
- 2004: 4th place indoor world championships in Budapest
- 2004: 5th place at the Olympic Games in Athens
- 2005: 2nd place in the European Indoor Championships
- 2005: 4th place in the World Championships in Helsinki
- 2006: 4th place indoor world championships in Moscow
- 2006: 3rd place in the European Championships in Gothenburg
Monika Bejnar is 1.73 meters tall and weighs 57 kg. Her best times are 22.91 seconds over 200 meters and 51.68 seconds over 400 meters.
