Monika Denker
Monika Denker (born Monika Boll on October 25, 1971 ) is a former German soccer player . She was a member of the German national team .
Athletic career
Denker began her football career as a defender and midfielder at VfB Rheine , which first changed its name to Eintracht Rheine and later to FFC Heike Rheine . She was also a player at VfB Alstätte. She played her first international match on June 2, 1994 against Croatia , which Germany won 7-0.
On March 23, 1997, Denker ended her career in the national team in a game against China and her entire football career with a final game on April 16, 2002 against her former club FFC Heike Rheine. In total, she played seven international matches for the senior national team and 29 Bundesliga matches, in which she scored a total of eight times.
