Monika Kotowska (born November 5, 1942 in Krakow ; † August 17, 2012 in Warsaw ) was a Polish writer and screenwriter .

The work of the studied historian and graduate of the University of Warsaw can be classified as realism , which in Polish literature of the 1960s addressed the life of ordinary people. She was a member of the Polish Writers' Union and wrote mainly books for young people.
