Monika Pulch

Monika Pulch (born May 23, 1949 in Essen ) is a former German fencer and participant in the Olympic Games in Mexico in 1968 and in Munich in 1972 . She fought for SC Rei Koblenz, which was later renamed Königsbacher SC Koblenz .

In 1966 Pulch won the German junior championships in women's florets. In the same year she took third place in the German championships of the active. In 1970 and 1972 she was runner-up.

In 1968 she took part with the foil at the Olympic Games in Mexico City, both individually and with the team. In the individual she was eliminated in the second of four rounds, with the team (Pulch, Heidi Schmid , Helga Koch , Gudrun Theuerkauff and Helga Volz-Mees ) she took fifth place out of ten participating teams. In 1972 she was again a member of the women's floret team at the Olympic Games in Munich (together with Gudrun Theuerkauff, Irmela Broniecki , Karin Rutz-Gießelmann and Erika Bethmann ). Again they finished fifth out of eleven teams.
