Irmela Broniecki

Irmela Broniecki (* 26. April 1944 in Speyer as Irmela Eggert ) is a former German foil fencer , German champion and participant in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich . She fought at Cologne FK.

Irmela Eggert won the German individual championships in foil fencing in 1970 . In 1972 she took part in the Olympic Games in Munich individually and with the team. In the individual she was eliminated in the second of four rounds, with the team she finished fifth, together with Gudrun Theuerkauff , Karin Gießelmann , Monika Pulch and Erika Bethmann .
