Monique Falk

Monique Falk (born before 1957), pseudonym Heinz Hellmer , is a German songwriter and the wife of the programmer for dance and pop music in the 1960s for Südwestfunk Baden-Baden , Herbert Falk. She is responsible for numerous German hit texts from the 1950s and 1960s.

Life

In 1963, the song Wini-Wini by the Tahiti Tamourés , for which Heinz Hellmer is named as the author, reached number one in the German charts, number four in the Dutch and number 19 on the Belgian charts. The German versions of the Beatles' songs in 1964, I Want to Hold Your Hand, with the title Komm gib mir dein Hand , recorded at number one in the German charts and She Loves You with the title She loves you, became particularly well known .
