The Monte Croce di Muggio is a 1799 m high mountain in the Bergamasque Alps in Italy. It is located east of Lake Como .
Routes to the summit
Starting points are Mornico ( 970 m ) near Bellano , southwest of the summit, or Giumello ( 1536 m ) in the northeast. A popular ascent ( mountain path ) begins in Mornico and leads over the flank of the Matoch ( 1379 m ) to Monte Chiara ( 1531 m ). From there it continues on a flat path to the Rifugio Capanna Vittoria ( 1536 m ) and then to the summit cross of the Croce di Muggio.
