The Monte Figogna (in Ligurian : Monte Fighêugna ) is a 804 meter high mountain in the northern Italian region of Liguria . It is located in Val Polcevera and belongs to the municipality of Ceranesi in the metropolitan city of Genoa .
On the top of the mountain is the Marian pilgrimage church Santuario di Nostra Signora della Guardia . Since May 2007, Monte Figogna has also been a stage destination of the Giro d'Italia .
