Monte Quemado is the capital of the Copo department in the province of Santiago del Estero in northwestern Argentina . It is located on the Chaco Austral . The distance to the provincial capital Santiago del Estero is 330 kilometers via the Ruta Provincial 5 and the Ruta Nacional 16 .
