The Monteynard dam ( French Barrage de Monteynard ) is a dam in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in France. It was built from 1955 to 1962 in the Isère department between the towns of Monteynard and Avignonet .
It has a 153 m high arch dam as a barrier structure and thus dams the Drac to the 6.6 km² Lac de Monteynard . In the hydropower plant dam are four Francis turbines installed, the generators can provide a total of up to 364 MW.
