The Monti Alburni are an Italian mountain group in the province of Salerno in the Campania region . With a height of 1742 m slm they belong to the highest mountains in the Cilento .
geography
The mountains are surrounded by the towns of Castelcivita , Controne , Corleto Monforte , Ottati , Petina , Postiglione , Sant'Angelo a Fasanella , Serre and Sicignano degli Alburni . When the weather is good, it offers a beautiful panorama over the southern Italian coast. To the north you can see Vesuvius .

The peaks of the Monti Alburni are partly accessible with a developed road, partly with hiking trails.
