The Monti Ernici (Hernic Mountains after the ancient Italian people of the Hernics ) are a mountain range in the Apennines . They extend between the regions of Lazio and Abruzzo . They border the Aniene and Liri rivers . The highest peaks are the Monte Passeggio (2064 m), Pizzo Deta (2041 m), Monte Fragara (2006 m) and Monte Ginepro (2004 m).
