Patric Looser (born May 23, 1984 in Gossau SG ) is a former Swiss vaulting athlete .

Looser began vaulting in 1992, initially as a team. In 1995 he also started his career in men's singles. He is 18 times Swiss champion as well as world and European champion (team and individual). He also won the first vaulting world cup final in April 2011 .

Life

In 2006 he started studying at the German Sport University Cologne and training in the JRG Cologne association . The JRG Cologne comes from successful vaulting teams as well as the former vaulting artist Kai Vorberg .

In February 2012 Looser ended his active career as a vaulting athlete. Now, among other things, he works as a lunge guide for other vaulters.
