Montriond / Cour is a district of the Swiss city of Lausanne . It is located in the southern part of the city.
The district itself is in turn divided into six quarters . These are Marc-Dufour, Milan, Les Cèdres, Cour, Mont-d'Or and Bellerive. In 2018, around 8,348 inhabitants lived in an area of 1.444 km² .

The district is primarily considered a residential area. There are also some larger companies in Montriond / Cour. For example the global operations center of Philip Morris International or the headquarters of Vaudoise Insurance .
Public transportation
Bus routes 1 and 25 of the Transports publics de la région lausannoise cross the district. The Métro M2 also has a stop in the district.
Buildings and sights
A special feature is the Parc de Milan , which is located in the center. A park with a lot of lawn and a few trees that separate it from the district. The Marc Dufour Bridge , named after the famous ophthalmologist Marc Dufour , connects the district with the city center of Lausanne.
