Moonlight on the Ganges is a pop song written by Sherman Myers (music) and Chester Wallace (lyrics) and released in 1926.

The Myers-Wallace Fox Trot Moonlight on the Ganges was a hit title for Paul Whiteman in the United States in 1926 (# 2 in December 1926; Victor 21039-B); the exotic-looking arrangement also contained influences from Far Eastern music. The band singer was Austin "Skin" Young, soloist on the Celesta Harry Perrella. The following year Fred Rich (Æolian 713282) was in the US charts with his version of the song.
