Morgan Marlborough (born December 3, 1990 ) is an American football player .

Career

society

During her studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Santa Clara University , Marlborough played for the local university teams of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Santa Clara Broncos from 2009 to 2013 . In January 2014, it was the college draft of NWSL in the second round at position 12 of the franchise of the FC Kansas City contracted and debuted there on April 12, 2014 game against Sky Blue FC . Marlborough scored her first goal in the NWSL on May 7, 2014 against Western New York Flash . At the end of the 2014 season she was able to celebrate the championship in the NWSL with the FCKC and subsequently switched to the Scottish first division and Champions League participant Glasgow City LFC on loan until the end of the year , with whom she won the Scottish Cup competition in November. For the 2015 season , Marlborough joined the league rivals Boston Breakers together with her teammate Kassey Kallman .

After three game days of the 2016 season , she was released from the Breakers and subsequently signed by league rivals Seattle Reign FC , where, however, she did not play a competitive game.

National team

Marlborough was appointed to the US U-17 national team for the first time in 2007. In 2010 she made her debut in the U-20s , and in 2012 finally in the U-23s, for which she appeared in six international matches until 2013 and scored three goals.
