Moritz Feldhendler
Moritz Feldhendler (born April 8, 1858 in Bielitz , Austrian Silesia ; died December 25, 1909 in Vienna ) was an Austrian architect and engineer who also worked in Bulgaria .
Life
Moritz Feldhendler was the son of a grain dealer. Until 1892 he worked as a technician for the Bulgarian State Railways on the construction of the Yambol – Burgas railway line . For the first Bulgarian national exhibition in Plovdiv in 1892 he was entrusted with the construction management of the state pavilions. He worked as an architect in Sofia from 1893 to 1904 . From 1904 he worked in Vienna as a planner and builder of apartment buildings. Stylistically he was connected to the Neo-Renaissance . The arrangement of the balconies on the corner of Dapontegasse and Engelsberggasse in Vienna is a unique contribution to the architectural type of the Viennese corner house.
