Moritz Sprenger (born February 22, 1995 in Magdeburg ) is a German soccer player who is under contract with VfL Wolfsburg II .
Career
Moritz Sprenger comes from the offspring of MTV Gifhorn , from whom he moved to the youth department of VfL Wolfsburg in 2007 . There he played in the U-17 and U-19 Bundesliga teams before signing a licensed player contract dated until 2018 in early 2014. However, he was primarily appointed to the squad of the second team in the regional league , for which he completed 38 league matches by summer 2016. He also played in the promotion games to the 3rd league , in which the Wolfsburg, however, could not prevail against SSV Jahn Regensburg .
Sprenger still played in the 3rd division in the 16/17 season because he received a two-year contract with 1. FC Magdeburg . He made his first professional appearance for this club on July 31, 2016, when he was called up on the starting line-up by coach Jens Härtel on the first match day of the season in the 3-0 home defeat against Fortuna Köln .
