Moriz Weinzierl

Moriz Weinzierl (born May 29, 1884 in Vienna ; † April 1955 ibid) was an Austrian lawyer and ministerial official . In the 1930s it was part of the clamping circuit .

Life

Weinzierl was born in 1884 as the son of a Lower Austrian tax officer. He went to school in Vienna and passed his matriculation examination in 1903. He then studied law and political science at the University of Vienna and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD.

He then joined the court service. In 1921 he became a regional judge at the district court for commercial matters in Vienna. He also worked as a lawyer in Vienna from 1909 to 1921 . In 1921 he was transferred to the tax section of the Federal Ministry of Finance . In 1922 he became a section councilor and in 1931 a ministerial councilor . In 1938 he was transferred to the Vienna Gauleitung .

After 1945 the Ministerialrat returned to the Federal Ministry of Finance. In the local budget section I, he was entrusted with department 6 (finances of the states, districts and municipalities, financial equalization).

In the 1930s he was part of the circle around Othmar Spann , theoretician of the corporate state . In 1931 he worked on the monthly Ständisches Leben . Sheets for organic society and economics with.

Weinzierl's son Peter Weinzierl (1923–1996) was a physicist, married to the historian Erika Weinzierl .
