The Morsa Bay is a small bay on the south coast of South Georgia . It is located 4 km east of Weddell Point on the north side of the Icefjord .
The South Georgia Survey surveyed the bay during its 1951–1957 campaign. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after the whaling ship Morsa , built in Moss, Norway in 1929 , which was used for the company Compañía Argentina de Pesca in the waters around South Georgia.
