Morten Hegseth Riiber (* 1986 ) is a Norwegian journalist and presenter who works for the newspaper Verdens Gang (VG) and its internet channel VGTV, among others .

Life

Hegseth comes from Stjørdal municipality and started working as a freelance journalist. In 2006 he took part in the Norwegian version of Big Brother . After his appearance there, he began studying journalism in Bodø , which he did not graduate. Instead, he began to work at VG, where he worked as a journalist and for the magazine Se og Hør . He later took part in other television programs such as Skal vi danse .

Together with Vegard Harm, who has become known as an influencer, he is part of the Harm & Hegseth podcast , which is recorded for VGTV. For this work, the two received the audience award at the Gullruten TV Prize in 2019 . In 2019 he also produced a series for VGTV about so-called homotherapy in Norway, which sparked a major discussion on the subject. In January 2020 he worked as a presenter for the Norwegian reality show Love Island Norge on TV 2 . Together with Signe Bonde Tusvik , Morten Hegseth presented the Gullruten edition of 2020 in June 2020.

In May 2016 he married Anders Riiber and he has been called Morten Hegseth Riiber ever since.
