Morten Veland
Morten Veland (born December 4, 1977 in Stavanger ) is a Norwegian musician . In 1996 he was one of the founding members of Tristania , where he took over guitar and vocals as well as the main parts of the writing of lyrics and music. After leaving, he founded the group Sirenia in 2001 , with which he continued his previous musical line. For studio productions he plays most of the instruments and male vocals himself.
Mortemia
In 2009 Veland founded the solo project Mortemia, which musically continues the line of Tristania (up to the second album) and Sirenia, but without female vocals. On July 6, 2009, Veland signed a contract with Napalm Records . The debut album Misere Mortem was released on March 2, 2010.
