Yasha Bunchuk and his Cossack choir can be seen in a banquet hall in the style of the Russian Empire. Here they sing various Russian songs, including Otschi Tschornije and Ei, uchnem . Bunchuk himself plays two cello pieces.

Moscow Moods was nominated for an Oscar in the category " Best Short Film (One Film Role ) " in 1937 , but could not prevail against Bored of Education .
