Moses Ceylan

Moses Ceylan (born January 11, 1980 in Füssen ) is a German chef .

Career

Ceylan's family is of Aramaic descent. After completing his apprenticeship as a chef, he trained as a butcher. This was followed by positions with Christian Jürgens , Joachim Wissler and Sven Elverfeld . In 2011 he became head chef. 2014 he was head chef at Restaurant Amador of Juan Amador in Mannheim; the restaurant had three Michelin stars .

Since April 2015, he and Sebastian Zier have been equal chefs at the Einstein Gourmet Restaurant in the Hotel Einstein St. Gallen , which was awarded one Michelin star in 2015 and two in 2017 . Moses Ceylan and Sebastian Zier fuse classic French cuisine with an avant-garde, oriental style.

Ceylan announced that it would leave the Einstein Gourmet for the summer of 2020 .

Private

Ceylan is the father of three girls.
