The Moscow Concert Hall Zaryadye ( Russian Московский концертный зал Зарядье ; international name Moscow Concert Hall Zaryadye) is a concert hall located in the Zaryadye Park in Moscow. The opening took place after three years of construction on September 8, 2018.

The location of the concert hall and the external appearance were designed by the American architecture firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro and realized under the supervision of Sergei Kuznetsov from the Moscow construction company Mosinschprojekt. The Moscow architecture firm Reserve was responsible for the interior work, while Yasuhisa Toyota planned the acoustics . The fully automatic hall conversion system in the largest concert hall in the building was developed and installed by the French company Serapid. The artistic director of the building project was Valery Gergiev .

The six-storey building has two basement floors and includes two concert halls for 1,550 and 400 spectators and a recording studio on a total area of ​​25,600 square meters. The concert hall is embedded in an artificial hill, its translucent roof structure also shields the amphitheater attached to the rear for open-air events. At 8,700 square meters, it is the world's largest free-floating glass roof. The two amphitheaters in Zaryadye Park are designed for 1,600 and 400 spectators, and concerts are broadcast in the smaller one.

The parquet in the great hall of the house "can be reconfigured from open floor [...] to arrangements with flat or staggered seating areas", depending on the size of the orchestra or the type of event. The stage is made of Alaskan cedar, the parquet is clad with oak, the seating is made of American cherry, the chairs are covered with a sound-reflecting fabric. There are panels of reddish mahogany on the walls - the choice of wood types is due to the optimization of the acoustics.

Big concert hall

The cost of the design and the preparation of the working documents for the Great Concert Hall amounted to 180.574 million rubles , the monetary expenditure for the technical equipment of the concert building is estimated at 1.845 billion rubles. The cost of the acoustic installations was 608.409 million rubles and 432.033 million rubles were invested in the stage lighting.

The logo for the concert building was created by Moscow designer Art. Lebedov Studio. It shortens the official name to Zaryadye Hall, preceded by a sign that symbolizes the roof structure and a hashtag.

The gala concert for the opening ceremony in the presence of Vladimir Putin was of world Rossiya K transmitted. The inauguration of the Mühleisen organ comprising 85 registers took place on February 29, 2020.

The city of Moscow is responsible for the state cultural institution of the Moscow Zaryadye Concert Hall. The office of general director is held by Olga Eduardovna Schukowa, Valery Gergiev is the chairman of the artistic advisory board.
