Orgelbau Mühleisen is an organ building company that was founded by Konrad Mühleisen in 1986 in Leonberg .

History of the company

Ernest Mühleisen (born March 26, 1897 in Echterdingen ; † December 10, 1981 in Strasbourg ) set up an organ building workshop in Strasbourg in 1941 and founded the family business Manufacture d'Orgues Muhleisen . His brother Gotthold Mühleisen was operations manager at Orgelbau Friedrich Weigle , where his son Konrad also worked. When Weigle was dissolved in 1985, Konrad Mühleisen and other former Weigle employees founded their own company in Leonberg.

The company has delivered over 100 new organs to date. There are also restorations of historical instruments. In 2019 it employed 22 people.
